2008 Civic Air Quit Blowing out of vents
2008 Civic Air Quit Blowing out of vents
I Need help on this issue, I have a 2008 Honda Civic ex Coupe. This has happened twice. The first time the air stopped working, so i parked the car, checked the fuses (were good) and drove my truck for a few days. I got back in my civic a few days later and it was all working fine (about 2-3 weeks ago,) then yesterday i was driving and it just turned off. Fuses are good, led's light up on the dash but no air blows out, it doesnt make any noise, heat/ac/outside air- nothing blows out at all. except this time its not turning back on.
My brothers has a 08 civic as well and his does this too but always turns back on.
Have any of you had this problem? what should i check could it be the dash switch or the resistor?
Its still hot and humid in texas to my standards haha and i am uncomfortable driving it.
any help would be awesome.

could be all sorts of things. fuse, relay, transistor, climate control switch, motor, etc. start cheap and work your way up.

Definitely check the A/C cabin air filter. It could be clogged with leaves or debris causing the fan to shut off due to overheating.
It could be worth a try to replace the fuses even if they look good.
Good luck.
