2008 Civic Air Quit Blowing out of vents I Need help on this issue, I have a 2008 Honda Civic ex Coupe. This has happened twice. The first time the air stopped working, so i parked the car, checked the fuses (were good) and drove my truck for a few days. I got back in my civic a few days later and it was all working fine (about 2-3 weeks ago,) then yesterday i was driving and it just turned off. Fuses are good, led's light up on the dash but no air blows out, it doesnt make any noise, heat/ac/outside air- nothing blows out at all. except this time its not turning back on. My brothers has a 08 civic as well and his does this too but always turns back on. Have any of you had this problem? what should i check could it be the dash switch or the resistor? Its still hot and humid in texas to my standards haha and i am uncomfortable driving it. any help would be awesome. |
Re: 2008 Civic Air Quit Blowing out of vents Can I assume the fan is not running and that it is not a severly plugged cabin filter ? |
Re: 2008 Civic Air Quit Blowing out of vents could be all sorts of things. fuse, relay, transistor, climate control switch, motor, etc. start cheap and work your way up. |
Re: 2008 Civic Air Quit Blowing out of vents Definitely check the A/C cabin air filter. It could be clogged with leaves or debris causing the fan to shut off due to overheating. It could be worth a try to replace the fuses even if they look good. Good luck. :) |
