2000 honda civic exhaust manifold
bought the the car needing a engine swap. i swapped it out. i have problems. check engine light is on. The iac motor wasn't working well so i took the out and cleaned it and put it back. Also i took out both 02 sensors cause i needed to get new ones. well i put them back in to see if the iac motor was working. i went for a test drive, about 15 min came back and the exhaust manifold was red hot. didn't do that before, until i messed with the sensors whys it getting red hot?

Holy s**t! Your running way too lean. DO NOT run the car until you solve the problem as you can burn out your valves among other things.
It sounds like the IACV is stuck or broken. Also, get the codes read and that will point at the problem.

the idle air control valve
and the air intake temp sensor have the same 2-wire plug
and are very close together,
might be an easy fix if there pluged in the wrong spots.
