Subs hitting hard when I shut off my radio/car
I just installed a Pioneer GM-D7500M that's pushing two TS-258D4 (10") Subs. When I shut my car off, or turn off the radio the subs seem to get a surge of signal and hit really hard (not good in a place with noise ordnance). The power cable is running right off the battery with a 15A fuse, the remote wire is piggy-backed off the cigarette lighter, and the signal is piggy-backed off my 6X9's. I just want to know what the best solution would be. I don't know if putting a toggle switch on the remote wire would be my best option or not. I'm more worried about damage occurring to the amp and subs, but no fuses have blown.
I appreciate the help!

It wouldn't be hard for me to swap over to the remote wire, I had read elsewhere on the forums to go ahead and use the acc power like the one going to the cig lighter

change the remote wire. your subs are prob still powered up when the HU shuts down and getting feedback. let the HU control it.
