SUSPENSION

What's up everybody? I have a problem with my suspension. I have Ground Control with Konis and my car is still bouncy in the rear. There is always a noise in the right rear side like something is rubbing. My car is only drop like 1.5 inches. I have 18s with 225 40 tires. I thought it was the tires so I put the factorys on and it does the same. Is there any kind of suspension that will ride like stock and lowered at the same time I am thinking of going back to my factory or finding a place that will put airsuspension on my car.

thats because ground contol is the same as arospeed, but with eibach springs.......basically that means their sh*t.....the coils rates suck, way too stiff for everyday driving, so you go boing......

Thats very very odd even wit Koni's. Something might be wrong wit the coils cuz they arn't the best for roads that arn't great, is that a problem around ur area? And yeah, Eibach sportlines are very nice and steady, even more so than any coils. It also might be ur rear camber. They take a strain too u kno, so I would check on that or buy a rear camber kit.
1973, who told u GC are like arospeed? I dont understand how u got to that conclusion.
TOOLOWCIVIC, How long did u use the coils? are they damaged? How much did you pay? If they are in good shape and still young I'll give you 200 for em. I live in chicago. Are you remotely interested? I'll check back later

I was looking at my coilovers and noticed that the FL is raised all the way up, the FR is about halfway down, the RL is about halfway down, and the RR is raised all the way up. My car sits even. Why is it like that. Could it be the coilovers

I've got the Ground-Control / Koni combo, had it for about 6 months now. No problems. You've got the damping poundage on the rear Koni's tuned to about 45 degrees more than halfway? Thats where I found the best rate to be to match the Eibach springs on the Ground-Controls. The only thing I can think that might be making a rubbing noise would be the threads on the right rear sleeve rubbing the spring, if the springs isn't sitting straight.

EDIT : I also have full Ingalls camber kits on as well, if you don't have any camber kits, that could be part of the problem, but camber kits wouldn't affect the way the spring sits very much, if at all.

one thing that could be making the noise is if the shop you got your stuff installed for got to put the bumpstops on your struts. A friend of mine had a GSR with H&R coilovers and his right rear made a clunking noise and the adjustment collar was nowhere near the other side. When we removed the suspension to sell the car, we noticed that the suspension was one bumpstop short. Just an idea.
