HELP with my stock alarm
Ok, I'm freaking out...
I was playing with my ACC plug hooking up some neons to it (Actually I had them hooked up for a while, but I was rewiring everything and after I rewired everything my alarm does not work.
I checked all the fuses (under driver, next to battery) and they are fine, is there anything else I shoudl check? My door locks still work, but my alarm does not go on.
HEEELP
Thanks,
Aldini

The alarm may have switched into auto or valet mode. If you have your alarm manual, check it out and see if you can switch it back to manual mode. Or just take it right back to your dealer and tell them that your alarm is acting weird. If your warrenty is still all valid then they will fix it right quick! I hope this might have helped. Later

ok man heres a simple solution to a simple problem, and ive done this many times accidentally with my alarm. heres what you did, you accidentally pushed your alarm keypad in a weird order whether it was in your pocket or whatever, and it turned off the alarm and kept the door locks still on, so basically when you arm it, it locks the doors but the alarm doesnt set, heres the problem your computer thinks you deactivated the alarm, so to reset your computer which is no problem at all, just disconnect the positive side of your battery for a few minutes, then reattach it, make sure you have your alarm keypad ready cause you have to disarm your alarm because your alarm will go off when you reconnect the battery. from here you just reprogrammed your alarm and it should work, now if it doesnt then you should get it to the dealer fast, but the main thing you did was deactivated the alarm and its shut off the computer so disconnect the battery for about three minutes or so and reconnect disarm the alarm with your keypad and it should be ready to go, but dont worry about anything else disconnecting the battery wont mess up anything accept your radio, reset the stattions and the time but thats no biggie, good luck and post with the results
