ATTENTION GROUND EFFECTS CUSTOMERS!
I recieved an e-mail from my cousin today informing me that he has a friend in his ball hockey league that makes custom ground effects kits. He has done 11 cars so far including his 92 civic. My cousin is as much as an enthusiast as me and said it looks sick! The price is in the $70-$120 range. If anyone's interested we can do a group buy and have the streets glowing!

I have left a message on the guys v/m to give me a call back with full details. But from what my cousin has told me it is a custom kit using standard "street glow" type neon lightswith custom wiring a power supply for a much brighter glow. He has done this for 11 show cars in Toronto so it must be serious. As soon as I find out about the parts exactly, I'll let you know.
yeh thought it was body kit for 100 bucks lol
im down for this
i want 2 red jobs done
rsx n civic
get a quote for me
no cheesy switches though haha gotta look goooood lol
are they brighter than the eurolite kits?

I HAVE TO APOLIGIZE TO EVERYONE ABOUT THIS THREAD. I SPOKE WITH THE INDIVIDUAL "DAVE" ON SATURDAY AND HE SAID THAT THE ONLY CAR THAT HE HAS ACTUALLY EVER DONE IS HIS OWN.
2 LIGHTS UNDER FRONT BUMPER
2 LIGHTS UNDER BACK BUMPER
2 LIGHTS ON LEFT SIDE
2 LIGHTS ON RIGHT SIDE
4 LIGHTS BOLTED UNDERNEATH RUNNING DOWN CENTER OF CAR
1 LIGHT PER WHEEL WELL
IT'S A PRETTY SWEET SETUP BUT THE INFORMATION ABOUT HIM DOING 11 CARS IT FALSE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL MY COUSIN WAS TALKING ABOUT BUT "DAVE" SAID HE HAS NEVER DONE THIS TO ANYONE ELSES CAR.
I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON ANOTHER CAR, SAY 10 OR 12 2K1 CIVICS. HE SAID HE PROBABLY COULD BUT HE DOESN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH IT. BECAUSE HE HAS TO BOLT THINGS ON TO OUR UNDERCARRIAGES, HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE RESPONSIBLE IF HE SCREWS UP, AND I DON'T BLAME HIM EITHER!
AGAIN, I APOLIGIZE FOR THE MIS-INFORMATION, BUT HEY, WHO'S TO SAY WE CAN'T DO A GROUP BUY ON THE STREET GLOW KIT OR SOMETHING. WITH ENOUGH PEOPLE INTERESTED WE COULD PROBABLY KNOCK OF $40 TO $50 EACH1

There is another little problem...

The transformer that is needed for the lights he used are no longer manufactured...this means you literally have to create your own transformer in order for these lights to work on your car.
I don't know about you guys, but I am definately not smart enough to rig something like that up!
