89 civic lx tries to start, but doesn't
alright, so this is what is happening. when i turn the key, the engine tries to start. And sometimes, it will catch and actually start, but stalls immediately. One time, i got it to start, and it idled fine. i even drove it around the block. it didn't overheat, shifted fine, accelerated normal and everything. While i stopped at a stop sign on my way home, it stalled. just shut right off. i had to push it home and it wouldnt start after that. it just keeps doing the same thing, the engine rotates but doesnt catch.
ive replaced fuel pump, fuel filter. battery is fully charged, the main relay is operating fine. while i was driving it, and when it was idleing, it wasn't smoking or nothing. any ideas?

Re: 89 civic lx tries to start, but doesn't
well, ive only gotten it started once. when it did die, it sputtered a little bit, so i tried to give it more gas to get the rpms up, but it still just turned off. i haven't been able to get it started again.
i just pulled to injectors to check them, but i haven't done it before. its a dual point fuel injection system, so it said to test the resistance on the plug of the injectors. when i tested them with the ohmeter, it just goes all the way to the right, i guess signifying 0 ohms, which means no resistance, right?
the book says that if the ohms aren't in the range listed in the book, (chiltons) that they should be replaced..should they be replaced? with no resitance showing up?
