Turbo possible after these mods?
I've been saving my $$$ for some big mods as soon as my warranty is up, and I've been wondering...
I plan on getting the Gude head package first, followed by a stroker kit when one becomes available. I want to still be able to run on pump gas, but after those two are done will a turbo be feasible? I read that the Gude package is for N/A only, but the problem could be solved with a new cam...correct?

I've been thinking about the Gude package as well.... In addition to porting and polishing the head, they also mill a little off, which increases your compression to something like 11:1 (not totally sure on that number). Running a turbo with comperession that high and pump gas will lead to lots of little pieces. BUT you could get a new head from Gude until a turbo comes out, then put a thicker gasket in to reduce compression......

other than milling the head, you will be good to go with a turbo. you can't mill the head cause, like someone mentioned before, compression that high combined with FI will reduce your engine to tiny pieces.

I wonder if the stroker kit after the head job will put me in the 200hp range. If so, then a turbo wouldn't be neccessary for wasting ricers on the street...but it sure would be nice.
