1996 civic cx leak in trunk ( and paint job )
yo, as for the leak ive heard this is a pretty comon problem but i never realy got an answer. its a hatch and im not actualy sure were all the waters coming from.
Also i wanted to redo the paint job ( sand primer pait and gloss ) on my civic.
I just wanted factory black again, its a realy nice colour and i wanted to know about how much it shoukd cost me.

paint for a full car with prep work usually costs $4-5k. you can save alot by doing the prep work (sanding, priming, sanding) yourself and just having the shop spray the paint and clear. for the leak, have someone spray the car with hose and you get in the trunk and see where the waters coming from.

Replacing the foam seals inside the taillights cured my hatch leakage. Found the leaks w/ the hose trick.
