Leak in rear of vehicle?

Leak in rear of vehicle?
Hello,
I just discovered a leak towards the rear of the vehicle. 
It appears to be oil and it looks like in the center directly across from the muffler. I believe it has dripped and absorbed around an area that I believe to be the gas tank underneath the trunk but forward a bit.
Anyone know what this may be? I'm out of work right now so I hope it is nothing serious, and also something that I can fix. Thank you for any advice.
