Re: 2000 EK questions

It's easy to replace the stick shift ****. It just unscrews.

What is a POD filter?

By "rev needle thing", do you mean a tachometer?

You can install an aftermarket tach from Autometer but you'll need to know how to wire it into your car. If you're a complete car n00b than I suggest you find someone else to do it. Another option is to get a complete gauge cluster from a 96-00 EX which comes with a tach. You can replace the one that's in your DX with no modifications except you may want to adjust the odometer to match the cluster that you are removing. An easy way to do this is to swap the speedometers.
