Fastest Engine For 98 Civic Dx
Re: Fastest Engine For 98 Civic Dx
JDM b16a and USDM b18c1 are about the same power but the b18 has alittle more torque.
LSD stands for Limited Slip Differential. basically equally distributes horsepower to power tires under hard acceleration so there's little to no wheel spin.
b16bs are way more expensive. and frankly not worth it. if you want a type r engine get the b18c5 ITR engine, but at that point id rather save for a k20a/z4 swap.
b20vtec's are awesome and affordable you just need to know what your doing, there's lots of guides though. my buddy has a frank motor and he runs low 13s/high 12s consistantly on all motor, hes runnin 11.5:1CR and type R head though plus tuning and other expensive parts.
I would do some research if i were you. figure out what your looking for in performance first.
