New Springs/Shocks. Loud Thumping. HELP
Hi. I just bought some Tokico HP with Tein S Tech springs for my '02 Civic EX. The front passenger side was knocking very loud whenever I hit a bump or anything. When we put on the new shocks and springs we saw that the strut mount on the right side was for an '01. Well I bought 2 new strut mounts and put one on the drivers side and kept the old one on the passenger side because I didn't have the plate that holds in the spring that went with my '02 strut mount. I will try and find one of those soon and switch it out.
My problem now is that they both thump extremely loud especially the driver side now. Also i am seeing that the car in lowered a good 1.5" everywhere but the front passenger side. That is probably almost an inch higher than the rest of the car.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing the thumping now? and why the front passenger side is higher than the rest of the car? I got the springs and shocks brand new.
Please help if you can. Thanks
