17's look better, way cheaper then 18's, you don't even really need 17's , why would you go for 18's? just common sense,

why a civic? why not a prelude?

Civicster should not be trusted
prelude wheel well are smaller than the new civic. and since the lude has smaller body. don't look right with those 18. 18 eatz up more gas and more speedometer error.... 18 heavier and more expensive. 18 needs expensive rubber tires!

even if a 18 is light it still puts more weight on the outside of the tire(that 1 inch) making the weight distrubution wider.

17's are easier to get to stock wheel size...but if you put on 18's your tires are gonna have to be like rubberbands to be stock wheel size

and if they are bigger than stock wheels...it eats more gas, slows your car, and throws your speedomoter off a couple of miles an hour.

Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
18's ride is harsh. too easy to dent your rims.

i'm gettin 17's cause if you get 18's you have no rubber on your rims. First pot hole your dent'n that rim, and. It's alot of dough to fix a dented rim. Plus i don't feel like wathing the road for bumbs when i should be watchin for traffic.

Well for one, 18's ride like worse than 17's and with all the pot holes around who the F*ck wants to wreck an 18" wheel and have to pay to replace it?

ignorance

i have 18s w/ 35/215/18 tires. the rolling distance is actually less than the stock EX wheel. for me to have the closest to correct rolling distance, i would need a 35/235/18 tire. if i had 17s, i would need a 45/215/17 tire. but on 17s w/40/205 tires. that looks nasty! btw, smaller wheels eat more gas, not larger, and smaller wheels will throw your speedometer off, too. larger wheels only slow your car from from a start.

why do you think that everything you do is the only way stuff should eb done? i mean you like 18's so fine but i think your 18's look dumb but that is my opinion and i am not going to cry about it like a little baby just cause i don't like 18's an di like 17's or even 16's. We are all here cause we have something in common. why can't we all just be cool with each other? is like a freaking kindergarden around here sometimes.

ive got 18's, love em. no dents, many pot hols in michigan. but hey if 17's is your bag, then thats cool. i think people are starting to forget that.....your car is personal, not what other peopel want it to be. and if you go by what your friends want you to, then thats just sad.

Smaller wheels put more mileage on and lower top speed. Plus with those big rims you are adding more rotational mass vs the stockers..... slowing you down
