I am replacing a half-shaft on my 93 LX sedan so I decided I might as well replace the tranny seal while I'm in there. So I go looking for that seal. On the left side, they list 2 different seals depending on which tranny I have. It says I could have a S24A or an A24A. Ok, so I go out to look at my tranny and the label on the top says M24A. Hmm, what's it all about. Ok, so I do some google searches and the only references that come up for M24A and civic come back Del Sol. When I look up the part for that car, it even shows the M24A. So, my question is, has someone replaced the tranny in this car with one from a del Sol? Does that seem possible here?

sounds like an automatic civic ex/del sol si tranny. very possible that someone did replace it then. just make sure you get the seals for that tranny

very possible like delsoldier said. most of the d series trannys are interchangable besides 88-89 crx si and civic si trannys
