need help 3.2 TL swap in 92 Hatch

Im pretty sure im getting a Acura 3.2 Tl Type-S full swap engine trans and mounts with axles but not exactly sure what exactly has to be done. I know its deff. going to need wiring, but what else? Do i have to cut my firewall?. etc.? Its going into a 92 Civic CX hatch

I've been looking into this. You can buy mounts for the j-series engines and the motor/trans should drop right in although I think you might have height issues that keep the stock hood from closing. Post up pictures of your progress.

thats true about the hood im glad you brought that up.. thanks for that i deff. have to check that out.. but as far as the mounts thats good to know that they shud drop right in..

Does anyone no a good place to go for the wiring cuz im ok when it comes to wires like i did my b series swap in my car but i to convert it to a 6cyl i dont want to risk that..

Also i have mad honda parts for sale if anyone needs anything. I have Type-R pistons on LS rods etc.

Yeah he was right about the hood you need to have about 4 more inches of clearance for the motor to fit which can be done by scooping your hood or warming a carbon fiber hood and bending it to fit which wont look good at all trust me; at worse you will just have a bumb on your hood like the 98 Eclipse GS
