What precautions do I have to worry about removing my front seats in my 09 Civic sedan. Let me know

Thats what i was thinking, i'll check with a Honda tech, I know they can come out, Honda took out an 07 civic seat for repair. I just don't want to deploy side airbag in the seat.

It won't delpoy dude. You can disconnect the plugs and you'll be fine. The ONLY thing to remember is to NOT turn the ignition on I, II, or III with the seat out. It will throw an SRS light that the dealer will have to reset (unless you do the paperclip trick on the OBD plug).

well the wiring is held to the seat with plastic clips and stuff. so just cut them off and leave em connected on the floor. so long as the car is off, disconnecting the seat belt buckle will not trigger the srs light.

Also disconect the battery when disconnecting the seats and wait 10 minutes to be safe so that the power discharges from the SRS computer
