D16z6 engine problems.. NEED HELP! :(
hi, i have recently bought a D16z6 V-Tec motor with the 5 speed transmission to swap into my 1993 honda civic dx.
The motor i have bought, has engine problems, the alternator, powersteering pump have been taken off from ppl tryin to get parts. But when i try to start it, all i hear is a clicking sound. The engine doesnt turn.
My brother, who works on his own cars, took a look at it. He doesnt know what it is. But he noticed that the sparkplugs that were in the engine were all corroded, and there was corrosion in the terminals of the distributor cap. So i got a new cap, and new sparkplugs, and it still does it.
Does anyone know what this is? Please help me.
