fenders, hood, headlights, bumper, radiator support, 'bumper filler' (headlight brackets), and grille. and probably some other small parts i'm forgetting. if you aren't fairly good with your wrenching skills i wouldn't attempt this. it requires tearing your whole front end off, drilling out spot welds and redoing spot welds.

Your better off just buying a 04-05, it would end up being cheaper than doing the conversion IMO

yeah its a pain in the ***. some one on here (dont remember who) did it, but he got in a crash and the front was damaged so he just converted then.

It's not that hard and yes it was me. You have to swap out the raddy cradle, but that takes about 90 minutes to pull off and weld the new one on with common garage tools. That's probably the hardest part. The rest is just bolt-ons.

And it's not that expensive if you get used parts. Probably around $600 for all new parts with you doing the labor yourself.

Also, that is my thread on 7thgenhonda. It wasn't a pain in the *** at all. I did it in one Sunday afternoon with limited handtools. Started early in the morning, had it road-ready by 5 p.m. You just have to know what you're doing, and prepare ahead of time.

Re: is it possible to change a 01 civic front end with new headlights, bumper, and gr

I can't call myself an OG, but the lack of information on the subject is what drove me to do a thorough write-up on it. Now if someone would post the wiring swap for an EPS rack, I'd have no more information to seek on the forums
