I bet most of you guys just did a DIY on this one, but I don't have a garage or the tools or skills I think to do it. So if anyone knows a place in Phoenix that clears headlights, please let me know. Or if one of you guys would wanna do it, tell me how much, and how long it would take. Thanks....

I don't live in your area... but...

I cleared my headlights without having any experience working on a car before.

Since then, I've cleared other people's headlights and they all think it's a piece of cake.

If you have the tools, it's easy to do. You'll need no more than 4 tools.

Socket wrench. (Two of these.)
Small screw driver.
Flathead screw driver.

Of course CLEAR SILICONE to reseal the headlights.

(Maybe some WD-40 for messes with the silicone.)

And that's it! Those tools cover the bumper and the headlights.

You don't necessarily need a garage for this. All you need is good weather (and a fairly good neighborhood). Just close the hood of the car and cover the front of it.

4 hours tops.

Just Do It... Yourself.

It's really not that hard.

You aren't the only one who's been skeptical about clearing headlights...

A lot of people figured out that it's really not that hard.

If you decide to do it yourself and you need help...

Send me a Private Message, and I will help you with whatever you need.

The DIY on here isn't all that clear so if you need more help, I'll give it to you.

I can even post pictures of the tools you can use.

Do you know why?

Because I am God. I am here to help you. j/k

But nah, i'm just bored. Anyways... go for it! The experience is worth it. If you run into a chick with a 7th Gen Civic and she wants her headlights cleared like yours, then HELLO! O_O Do it! Get a good tip, too!

Well, my point is... it's nice to help others out.

g2g!

P.s.: Don't let a shop clear your headlights. People have had bad experiences with that. Plus it's a waste of money for the labor when you can do it yourself. There's not much that can really happen in terms of problems but I can tell you what to look out for. There is only one hard part but that doesn't make the whole experience risky. Just do it. You'll pat yourself on the back for it.

Aight, I think you just about convinced me to do it myself.... I guess the DIY on this forum made it sound a lil confusing...and if you have any pix, that'd be great! Thanx bro
