2005 LX Cig. Lighter
So, I picked up my car near the end of 2008. Since I've picked up the car, I haven't needed to try my cigarette lighter until recently. Anyway, long story short, it's not working - doesn't put out power to anything and doesn't give off heat to indicate there is a charge at all.
I finally was able to pull the fuse out (phew, there's no space down there) and it isn't blown. I've plugged in at least 3 items that require power through the cig. lighter to prove it wasn't the item that was malfunctioning.
Am I doing something wrong? Is my car's lighter not set-up to provide power or something?

Re: 2005 LX Cig. Lighter
It's probably loose/unplugged from the back. Just take off your center console and re-affix it. I often take off my center console and forget to plug it in from the back. If you've never taken off your console, then it may be just loose from the years of use.

I'll check the voltage.
I will also remove the console, I've taken it off before to install a HU - however I didn't touch the empty switch spaces or the cig. lighter.
I'll keep you updated.
