I wanna change my 2000 Civic HX's manual tranny fluid. Few Q's
I've changed the manual tranny fluid in my previous '96 Integra GSR. Was pretty easy to drain & fill (2 bolts). I used RedLine MTL which worked great.
*How is it for our Civics?
*Same/similar procedure as my GSR?
*What oil/fluid is recommended for the Civic 5 speed?
*Anything better than the OEM Honda manual transmission fluid?

yup. the MTF-z1 or ATF-z1 is the best (oem)
//////////edit
there is stufff better than the oem stuff. its called "GM's synchromesh transmission fluid"
that stuff is seriously black magic when it comes to MTF. its also called AMSOIL Synthetic Synchromesh Manual tranmission fluid. (GM;s is made by amsoil)
look it up, thousands of krazy reviews on it, even on hondatech. i am using oem right now, pretty good, but i put some in my friends 02 civic.....and wow.......it was so much better than mine. so much smoother.
research it urself. i am using that next
