Smile error code p0134

I have a civic hybrid 2005 and recently had the check engine light come on. I had the code read and it was code p0135 bank 1 sensor 1 heater circuit malfuntion. I replaced the sensor with a denso universal from advance auto. I could not find any information on the wiring from the OE sensor which is a denso du2 sesnor with 1 green 1 white and 2 black wires. With the universal you must cut the connector off and splice the new sensor on. My first question is does anyone know what the configuration of the OE sesnor is? I know the black wires are the heater, but which wire is the signal and which is the ground. I initially hooked it up with the green being the ground and now the code is p0134 bank 1 sensor 1 no activity. I switched the wires and made the white wire the ground and the same code appears(p0134). So my second question is what is the deal? What other reasons would make this code appear? anyone dealt with this issue? anyhelp would be appreciated

Re: error code p0134

i hope u mean by OE u mean oxygen sensor other than that i have no clue i looked it up http://www.obd-codes.com/p0134 but it says oxygen sensor thats in the exhaust manifold try replacing that if you dident and the reason it would appear is because the oxygen sensor determins weather the car is running to rich or lean the car adjust to it by the oxygen content in the burned gas if its not working it will throw a code

Re: error code p0134

you have to be careful that you replaced it with the correct type of sensor, 04-05 civics came standard with wideband type air/fuel ratio sensors, not oxygen sensors. using a regular o2 sensor wont work.
