check to see if there is any liquid coming out of the strut. if there is, it is blown, and u need to get a new one

Re: sounds like some creaking

you probably didn't index your struts correctly when you putting your aftermarket springs on. you can fix it by indexing them correctly but won't do anything except for the noise if you dont.

Re: sounds like some creaking

naa there is no liquid comming out, atleast Im pretty sure
i dont know how i would have blown it other than going over speed bumps hah. the creaking just started and iv had the springs on for over a year now
and was installed professionally by a place called project imports, so im sure they did everything right.

Re: sounds like some creaking

based from experience i had the same noise, even though i had no liquids around my shocks. when i switched to coilovers the noise went away. when i put my shocks and stock springs back the squisshy noise going over speed bumps (slowly) came back

Re: sounds like some creaking

FYI my car's struts were blown out at 50k when I bought it, so I bought some tokico's. If you car is super bouncy, like a lifted truck, you may want to replace them.
