I have an 05 civic EX SE and after a few years of driving around in the snow and ice the body kit has taken quite a beating. I was thinking of having everything touched up and have all the cracks sealed but then started thinking about just swapping it out for something like a stock set of bumpers so I will get a few more inches of clearance. I am also getting a little older so something that looks a little more professional might be nice. I have searched the forums but not seen anyone post about this. Does anyone know how difficult this would be? Do I just need to order stock bumpers for the front and rear? It almost looks like the side skirts could be unscrewed and that is all the work it would need. Any help would be appreciated.

replacing the bumpers should not be hard at all. there should be retaining tabs underneath the bumpers and screws in the fender well. if you have side skirts in u might not have to remove it to replace the bumpers. but u likely will haev to remove if to replace the fenders.
