Help w/ removing Bumber for headlight clearing
i know there are tons of posts on clearing headlights and i have a pretty good grasp on getting the headlights apart and clearing them. i am having some problems on getting the front bumber off. I read the DIY a bunch of times and i'm not fully understanding it. ya i know, i'm a newbie. i just need some help. thanks. e-mail me at XandeternityX@yahoo.com
It is actually fairly simple once you do it one time. All you do is take off the 4 push pins from under the hood, 2 phillips head screws (one in each fender) and then give a firm tug to the bumper right in front of your fender on each side and it should pop right off. You have to maneuver the front around the hood latch for it to come forward. The sides are just clipped on. You dont HAVE to take the whole bumper off. I just took of the push pins and the fender screws and popped it off and let it just hang till I got done. Its actually a little less work. But taking the whole thing off works just as well! Hope I was a help!
