cleaning injen CAI air filter

Hi

Please tell me which is the easiest way to clean the Injen CAI filter without removing the bumper.
I don't want to remove the bumper everytime when I need to clean it. Thanks

hey how often does the filter need to be cleaned? i have AEM CAI, so the bumper doesn't need to be removed, but still a pain to get the filter off.

You could try pullin the plastic back from the wheel well and reaching in. I think you can pull it down from the bottom under the front bumper without having to mess with screws but not sure.

How often do you have to clean the filter? I ordered an Injen CAI, it should be here on Friday N I'm curious.

You shouldnt have to clean and re-oil the filter but once a year or so. Maybe more often if you drive down a lot of dirt roads. At the most every six months.

I've heard from a few experts that cleaning cone filters too often can wear them out.
