South Florida Peoples - Moroso - 26-
OK.
I'll start.
Moroso, Friday, 26-April-2002
Gates open at 6:00p.m.
Now that we're in daylight savings time, we'll have plenty of light to check out our
cars and make some runs in the daylight.
How 'bout it?

It doesn't matter what your car runs, it's just for fun...
I just thought that would be a cool place to hang out for an evening.
We can check out the cars, check out some racing, and chat...
Why can't I get my sig to appear at the bottom of messages any more?

That's why I started this thread with several weeks of anticipation, so that anyone interested would
be able to make arrangements....leave early, day off, babysitter, etc....
For those of you that have never been there:
If you want to race, you must be wearing pants.
It costs $15 to race (as many passes as you can make that night)
If you go faster than 13.99 (hee hee), you need a helmet.
Visit Moroso for more info!
Spread the word!!

Hello everyone!
We're about a week and a half away from the 26th!
There were plenty of people that wanted to meet a while back. Where did they all go?
Anyway, I hope a few of you can make it to Moroso. If you're in Miami, the earlier you leave
the better. I hope to be on the highway myself BEFORE 4:00pm. The gates open at 6:00pm,
but you want to be out of the urban jungles of Miami-Ft. Laud before 4:30, or the traffic will eat
you alive! The good thing about Daylight Savings Time is that it will be nice and bright for a while
in the afternoon, giving us time to see each other's faces and cars before it gets dark.
Anyway, this won't be a speed contest. If you want to race your Civic and have some fun, great. If you'd rather just watch some other people racing, that's great, too!
I'm not sure yet if I'll be in my Civic (stock 2k1 sedan - nothing to see here) or the 'stang, but I will definitely be there.
Hope to see you there.

It seems kind of strange "chatting" with people from Orlando(!) about going to Moroso, but I forget sometimes how far Moroso is from Miami!!! It's about an hour and a half drive from down here!!!
