Left wheel shakes pretty bad at high speeds
Left wheel shakes pretty bad at high speeds
I installed new front struts on my 02 civic. when i am driving at speeds higher than 40mph my wheel shakes badly..it happens rarely but freaks me out. what a hell is that? My car needs alignment after new struts installed (i donno if that can be a reason) but it was happening even after i did alignment last time. What's the reason?
Re: Left wheel shakes pretty bad at high speeds
lets not jump to conclusions here people, and dont guess either, i would say to go have an alignment done, along with a wheel balancing, if that does not do it, then have tires inspected. how exactly do u know that the left wheel shakes exactly?

I feel shaking in the front of the car when driving 40-60mph that freaks me out!
It knocks while shaking (sorry for my English). Sometimes it just vibrates. I rebalanced wheels. didn't help. now im gonna do alignment( i need it anyway) and I hope it will help. I also suspect it's a worn wheel bearing. Iam gonna check it ASAP. Tires are brand new installed at Costco

i had the same problem. then i got new tires and a balance. its hardly noticable anymore, but that could just be because i have torn boots that ive put off getting replaced.
