Hey Everyone
I have a 2007 LX Coupe and I really want to get an xm ready radio, but I really don't want to get an aftermarket stereo because I think it will not look right or flow (if anyone has any pictures to show me otherwise please show me) I wasn't looking for a navigation system just the stock radio for the EX. Does anyone know where I should look for the stock XM ready EX stereo that was stock, because that way I could replace my LX one with one that looks the same yet is better.
Whew that sounded confusing, but I checked ebay no luck really and Honda is saying 900 because it's never been done before! And I'm not about to pay $900.
Any help would be so appreciated

Oh you know what I just talked to a honda rep he says the wiring is so different so it would be very hard. Nevermind

You could try and find a car at a junk yard and pull a system out and then try and re-wire it.

However I'd say just get aftermarket stereo or buy the Bass Stereos they sell at honda.

ask the sales rep for a pinout of the lx and the ex civic. I can almsot gaurentee you they are not diffrent. honda wouldn't waste the time to make diffrent harnesses for dx lx or ex behind the dash.

Ive been doing installs since I was 13 years old. And did it professionally for 2 years. No way they are diffrent. Making diffrent harnesses like that would go against all Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
