Tokico Blues + Tanabe DF210's

I know someone out there has to have this setup. If you do please post a pic of it here along with your tire and rim sizes. Feel free to comment on the ride quality and any install tips would be greatly appreciated. Ex. using bump stops, dust boots, factory or aftermarket strut mounts etc. Thanks in advance to any who contribute.

1) If you have made up your mind, then just get them
2) Install tips are in the INSTALL thread, which is the same for all springs/shocks
3) there aren't aftermarket "strut mounts"
4) You don't get dust boots with tokicos, but you need to reuse bumpstops.

anyone on hear with tokico blues will say nothing but good things about them. dont hear much about the tanabe springs though...

I've got them already robb, just not installed untill Wed. A buddy and I will tackle the task at his work. Was just looking for others results and feelings mainly, but thx for the tips anywho. And what I meant by aftermarket wasn't performance, just rather OE replacements like Monroe or Gabriel etc...

Done, loving it, the drop looks beautiful and the ride is smooth. I'll post pics soon. But sadly my 215/45/17's rub.... that sucks. Will be cutting and reworking the rear wells soon.

just get smaller tires....45s are a bit tall IMO, but what wheels and offset are you running? where do the tires rub and how much? may not need to roll fenders at all...did you get an alignment yet?

Add negative camber in the rear...and if you haven't gotten one yet, get a camber kit.

would love to see pics of car. i have the same springs on my car, but have stock struts. its not good at all. i love the drop, but not the ride. i bottom out on everything! i want to get new struts and was looking and the Tokico d-specs, but don't know if that is an overkill or not. How's the ride on yours? i read you said smooth. just want to know a little more details. Thanks

Here it is fellas. Loving it. Don't really know what to say besides smooth. Very comfortable, to me it feels nicer than stock. Spring rate is only 15% greater than stock and my stock rear struts were blown, so ???
