so this morning i went to the dealership to check out the new Evo X. you could kill me now, and id die happy. i would have bought it on the spot but $45,000 . that was too rich for my wallet. plus i have no credit. lol

so im going to go with the lancer gts, for around 18k. i like the evo more bc it looks more aggressive and has almost double the power. but i can convert the body to evo x style, and theow in a turbo.

the guy at the dealership said i can take a corner as fast as i want and still stick to the road. i said, "oh no, dont tell me that, i might just do it........wanna go for a test drive?"

I would go with an Evo IX before I went with the X. So much better looking and a 10 times better motor. IMO Evo IX is the hottest looking Evo ever released!!! I drove my buddies Evo IX for about 90 miles and ran the absolute dog sh** out of it. Used 3/4 of a tank of gas lol Messin' with cars all day long on the interstate. I love those cars!!!!

I would have like to seen the guys face when you said lets go for a ride....

BTW insurance would probably give you a good smack in that taint also.....

yea they had an evo 8 sitting up there. i agree with you, IX's are so much sexier. insurance is going to be a bitch, we discussed that while up there.

i could buy it and put it under my buisness with decals with the buisness name on it. use it as a tax rightoff

I would get an Evo IX but inurance would kill me. My insurance on an S2k would go up from $104 a month to $430 a month. With a Civic Si it would go up to $330.

i make $1200/month, i dont have and kids and i live with my parents, lmao, so it shouldnt be to hard to pay for insurance/payments. only thing is i'll need a co-signer bc i have no credit.
im paying for insurance/payments on my civic now. im going to try to hold on to it if i can, bc i dont want to sell it.

If I bought an Evo my insurance company would probably send me a commemorative gift in the mail of an industrial size bottle of KY to prepare myself for the monthly cost lol

i dont think you can just "throw on" a turbo. its a lot more complicated than that. and even if you did, the evo has a much better drivetrain that the regular lancer has. i say if you decide that you're gonna get the lancer, just stick with the civic. theres really no point in getting it unless you want a new car.

id just like a newer car with a reasonable amount of power. im not trying to heavily mod it. the evo x is a better car with more power but the price tag breaks the bank. thats why im looking for a stock or lightly modded evo 8 or 9that doesnt kill me money wise. but what im saying is if i have to ill buy the 2009 lancer because it has a better price.

why not wait a little longer and buy a Lancer Ralliart.

Its mitsubishi's version of the wrx.

It has a detuned evo X engine and the evo X dsg transmission. It doesn't have the evo X awd system, but it has the evo IX version.
