Needed a Change : Painted the Wheels *Better Pics*
The wheels were gunmetal with a silver lip. I wanted flat black with a copper/gold lip.
The "gold" is certainly not what I expected, but if it bugs me too much I'll redo it or paint the lip flat back as well.
Took these at South Mountain, the car was certainly dirty plus some hooker took my car out gear last night and stuffer my BRAND NEW lip into a curb cracking it. More **** to fix. UGH

Good job. I can see where you say the gold may be too much. It looks more like a chrome yellow/orange than a gold.

I always wondered what a gold lip would look like...
now i know
how annoying was it to sand everything down? esp in all the little cracks.

Looks pretty sick, good job
Words on the color turning out different... maybe more bronze would be sicker?

I think you should try and find a color that will match the amber part of your headlight. I'm not sudjusting you paint the lip amber, lol.
quality paint work though, you got the prep work down

Damn, that looks tight. I see what you mean when you said the gold wasn't what you expected, but I like it to be honest. Quality work. Nice job!
