Hey fellow 2k1 and 2k2 members...i was just wondering about the "Kaminari Kit"...i heard that it is a "add on" instead of like a full bumper and full Rear....it just like clip on or something or like you have to nail it into the stock rear and bumper?? anywayz..plz answer this question!

yea they're not replacement bumpers, just lip kits

the kit fits nice and tight against the car. it should come with all necessary hardware such as screws. there is also double sided tape on the inside that helps hold the "skirts" on. the screws are drilled into the factory bumpers in the inside of the wheel well. you'll have to remove your wheels to properly drill them in. i added silicone around all the edges to prevent dirt and weather from wearing away at the tape on the inside. the wing involves a lot more work i assume because of drilling into the trunk. have a professional do that part.

fyi...Kaminari is coming out with a full front bumper replacement instaed of the lip for the 2k1's...this info is provided courtesy of the daughter of the Kaminari owner...which by the way, her daughter is in our car club
