CV Joint, constant vibrations when driving!

Hey guys, i get a constant vibration when i'm driving, less when accelerating and more when coasting or tapping the brakes, and i've replaced my brakes and have not worn them down at all since i've gotten them, as well as turned my roters.

A friend of mine works with cars often and says it's my CV joints. i'm a beginner with cars so i was wondering the steps i need to take to inspect the CV boots and joints and such to find out if they're the problem, and also if i'm reasonably capable to fix it myself...

given the options to either fix it myself i'd also like to know the cost doing it myself, AND getting it professionally done (it doesn't have to be by the manufacturer)

by the way i have a Civic 2005 lx, was used when i purchased it. It's been a year and a half since i purchased it and replaced the tires + alignment.

i get them balanced and rotated each time i change my oil and i don't notice any harsh or uneven tread on my tires and my steering wheel doesn't shake (usually/much).

any informationwould be useful, thank you.
