windshield replacement
windshield replacement
I need to replace my front windshield on my 2002 civic (4-door) because of a crack. I've gotten quotes from $160 - 270. And each quote offered different things (top molding, lifetime guarantee, some kind of kit?) I don't know what any of these items do/mean and I don't know what to look for in terms of best value, since I've never replaced my windshield before. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Re: windshield replacement
The quote I got for my sedan about a year ago was $200 + tax. (local independent dealer)
It should only require the glass and any items need to install and seal it.
Your quotes seem fair enough.
In the spring I'm going to make an insurance claim on mine (the cracked area is low on the glass)
