Today I went to a local mechanic by my house to get my tein spring put so I left the car and came home so like in 25mins he come to my house saying that my rear passenger shock is badd, I have koni yellows... So I go with him to check it so I he showed me the the ring on the bottom of the shock was broken so I told him just put it back and when I get $$ I will order one shock, so he tells me he cant put it back on because it wont hold my springs and that I need one asap so I had to go to pepboys and buy a pair of shocks so the ones they had are called Monroe shock and struts I needed them so I got them both for $160 ok so I came back home gave him the shocks and left so later on I picked up the car everything was fine maybe like 2hrs later the passenger rear side tire started to rub from the inside when I hit a bump or anything so I went to my friends house and now when I was coming home that same side that is rubbing is making like a rattling noise... What could it be?

If the C ring was bad you could have welded it on to the shock no?

monroe's are crap for 1, two, not designed for drop springs, and its probably from a bad install, id check to see if ur tires are rubbing the fenders/fenderwell

Thanks for the info guys, the problem was that the washer on the shock broke so it had to be replace thats what the mechanic said....

What about the lip kit? sorry I for got lol.

No way bro u never wanna weld a shock unless its on the mount,even then it can be dangerous b/c some shocks are gas filled, yea BOOM not good. even the liquid filled ones shouldnt be welded cause it can change the chemical makeup causing negitive effects.
