I was lookin at the Eibach pro-streets, but i think that may be more than i need. Anyone have these, and have an opinion on them? woudl they be good for auto-x?

If anyone has opinions on what sets are good for primarily street and some track would be good, id appreciate the info

also noticed some come with the upper mounts, some dont. is it better to get one that does come with it? or does it not really matter?

heres the link for the eibachs

good post, i was wondering about these myself. i will be in need of new suspension shortly. my s-techs are sagging bad in the rear and I haven't decided on a good set of coilovers or if I want to put air on it. I'd be really interested in a set of air-bag c/o like the ones that were made for Subies a while back....i think ProDrive made them....edit: it was Praxis that makes them...http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/03...ion/index.html

hey tuning my civic i looked into air also. I was not impressed. Its cool that you can slam your car but there are major problems with it. First of all it rides like total $hit. No joke. I figured o sweet air is gonna ride nice n smooth. It'll be like i just put a pair of nike air's on my feet. Wrong. it is so rough. And another thing is it really messes ur suspension up. Like i know a guy who had it and he cambered out his tires so bad because its impossible to get good alignment if ur height is constantly changing. Mcferson strut system sucks especially on air. I rode in the older style civic and it was still brutal. Unlessl your car sist in ur garage and only goes out for shows and special occasions i don't reccomend it. I have coilovers and absolutely love them. at first they take some getting used to but my car rides better than any other lowered car ive ever been in. It rides way better than the guys at my school who just have lowering springs. However i am running tein flex and i do not have them very low and i keep the dampers set at around 2 for normal daily driving. In the summer when its nice out i usually crank it up to about 4-6. It handles so tight. I tried running 8 and it was a ride i'll never forget hahaha. tightest suspension ever and i still had 8 levels more to go!!!!!. I definantly reccomend tein suspension parts to anyone i talk to. Great performance and they last amazingly. I live in canada where we have tonnes of snow and i drive my car even in the snow. We have crazy nasty salt and my coilovers still look new. Im impressed.
