need help, which springs?

hi

i need your help.i've got a civic hybrid 4dr and i want to lower my car.

for my civic i only can get springs from

eibach, vogtland and b&g

so i can't decide....what is the best combination with stock shocks?

i heard that the eibachs make some clocking, knocking sounds in the rear.

if you have pics of lowering with eibach prokit,b&g and vogtland i would be fine

excuse my english!

Re: need help, which springs?

why can u only use those springs? hybird uses diff springs/struts then regular civics?

id go with eibach for springs...they're alot more reputable than the other two

I highly suggest NOT lowering your car that much and NOT lowering it on stock shocks. All of us have non-hybrids. We do not know the effects of lowering a hybrid because of all the extra equipment and weight distribution. If you want to lower I only suggest no more than 1" with Tokico HP (Blues).

I have a similar question. I also have a hybrid. I want to get new springs/shocks, but do not want to lower the car. What are your recommendations?

get oem parts since you don't want to lower your ride...no aftermarket spring/shock combo won't lower your car.

Just replace your shocks with OEM or Tokico. Springs should be fine.

Re: need help, which springs?

i talked to technicans from eibach, kw and vogtland here in germany.the hybrid has an axle load from 800kg in the front and rear and a weigt from 1260Kg.its the same like the ES with the 1.7 engine.

the springs for ES are also for EM/EP/EU

so it can also be use for a hybrid.

try the link here http://php.vogtland.com/get_pdf.php?...2TG0902-00.pdf

thats an german TUV certification.they will add the ES9 (hybrid) soon.

sorry for my english
