Are 97 Civic Sedans notorious for wind noise by any chance? The rubber around all of my doors is in perfect condition yet when i reach 60mph it sounds as though one of my windows is slightly down.

I've also noticed that quite a bit of noise gets into d car from outside compared to my previous car. Its also very easy to close the doors, doesn't require much force. What could the problem be if not the rubber?

My 99 civic is having the whisling noise at 60mph. I think its wind somehow going under the wide hard plastic lining running vertical beside the window.

This is a known problem with 96-00 Civics and there is a TSB out from Honda on this but I can;t remember what the remedy is. Try turning up the music.

My 2000 EX, and my 2000 Prelude SH do this as well. It sounds as if the window is slighly open or the door isn't shut tight.
