Re: question? sway bar
if you want an RSX sway, you can use ur stock bushings and brackets, but you might as well as get theirs too. progress front sway bar is pretty good. progress mounting kit is for cars that did not orginally come with a sway bar. so if you have an ex from year 01-03 you should be good.
02-04 rsx rear sway is 19mm the 05-06 is now 21mm.
there is no need for a DIY for bolting on a rsx sway, but yes it's essentiallly the same as the progress. if you ahve an ex, simply unbolt stock sway and rebolt new sway. easy as that.

Re: question? sway bar
You cant use your stock bushings...you need either the stock RSX 19mm ones or get some aftermarket polyurethane ones, like for Energy Suspensions. But you can use brackets from either car.
It is a pretty straightforward job. It's really easy. Took me and my roomate about an hour to do it.
When it comes to sizes, their is the RSX 19MM and the 21 or you can get the Progress which i think is 22mm or there is the DC5 Type R 22mm rear sway...all of these will work. I would go with the 19mm since its perfect for street use and even some mild track use..

Re: question? sway bar
ok first of all, do you know what a bigger sway bar is for? if not then read!
second you need the rsx sway bar, bushings, and mount. your stock ones wont fit. you dont need a progress mount unless you dont have a rear sway.
lastly if you just take your rear sway off the rsx goes right in its place. theres only 2 ways it will install. and if you do it wrong you will hear it hitting your exhaust

^ uh.. sometimes u dont really need to know what the upgraded bar is.. ecspecially for our em2s... its a nice improvement and a cheap mod thats well worth it.. everyone can feel the difference n theres never a complaint about this mod... so...with our cars, knowing what the bigger sway is for.. shouldnt matter

Re: question? sway bar
blah blah blah blah blah
1) Read the Suspension and Autox FAQs in my sig. Sway bar charts and other good information is there.
2) I agree with metalviper that if you don't know what the bar will do to your car, then you shouldn't be getting it until you do.
3) If you swap to a 21mm, then you will need both brackets and bushings. If you swap to a 19mm, then all you need are bushings. Because you have an 02 LX, you should have a rear sway bar already so you don't need a mounting kit.
4) A diy for a rear sway bar is a diy...there are no differences.

Re: question? sway bar
^ true...missed that.
there was an argument in some thread a while back that said that theeres a noticable difference between the ITR and the type-s sway bar. he stated it isnt worth buying the 19 when u could get the 21 for about 10 or 20 bucks more... i think the 19mm is worth it enough.

Re: question? sway bar
nice.. thanks everyone that answered my questions and robbclark1 thanks for the sig reading. that was informative. i think ima listen to dsevenem2 and go for the 19mm one. yeah since its a direct swap. it should be a easy job.

Re: question? sway bar
simple answer no you don't need to replace your endlinks.
But a lot people do if they are running uprated bars the stocks endlinks can supposedly only handle so much and if one of your endlinks breaks it can rip through your gas tank. I'm running a progress 22mm bar with tie brace (which really helps stiffen the back end) and I have the stock endlinks, and I have never had a problem. And I throw the shinzzle out of my car at autox never had one snap
