its spelled VTEC...**** im so tired of people misspelling it, especially dealerships. Yes it has VTEC, but its not the kind of VTEC you are thinking of. It is not what I call a changeover VTEC, I hear the VTEC is only only on the exhaust cam, but thats on the K motor, wouldnt make sense here because this is a single cam...not sure. you gotta remember that there are a lot of VTEC systems...the new civic has a VTEC system that during highway driving has the valves only open partially or somethin for better fuel economy its in the brochure il check it

Assuming a stock car:
If it doesn't say vtec on the valve cover it isn't.
If it isn't an Ex (Si in Canada) is isn't.
