Ball Joint or Bushing? What am i looking at here?

Ball Joint or Bushing? What am i looking at here?
Hey, i have a pretty nasty front end clunk..

These babies are shot on both sides - front end, i assume that is the lower control arm, and i thought it was the bushing, but now i'm concerned i might be wrong, and it could be a ball joint?

I cant find any diagrams to confirm either way..

Any help would be appreciated!

That would be your front lower control arm bushing. Very common on a 7th gen. Did both of mine.

uh huh. ball joint would be on the hub end of the control arm.
