painting headlights problem.....
Alright so i bought another pair of headlights (04-05) to black out, so i went through the process and had taped off the turn signal reflector part, when trying to take off the tape some of the chrome paint came off. it bothers me and it seems too much to just leave be. does nebody have a remedy for this? i dont wana just get some random chrome paint and have it come out even worse

I remember some guy here did that on a red car looked pretty good.
Also it would match your rims and would go well with black.
Its worth a shot.

Re: painting headlights problem.....
the headlight chrome is not a paint, its a vacuum metalizing process which you wont be able to do on your own. either send it to a place that does it, or but new lights. getting new headlights would prolly be cheaper.

Re: painting headlights problem.....
A little late now, But for anyone else who has had this problem try some Lacquer thinner's. I never pulled apart the headlight's on the car or have any idea what they are made from in the back.
But I know Lacquer thinner's will scrape sh|t off a Cat's behind...
Another option is to go to home depot and buy the chrome reflective paint
