Spark plug non fowlers

I was woundering if anyone that has turboed there civic has used the spark plug non fowlers on the o2 sensors.
If so do you have to do it on both sensors or just one.
And if you have a wideband do you need one for it to get the same reading as the sensors.
My car is only pushing 6psi and is going to be a daily driver so keep that in mind.
Or do you know of anyone that has done this before.
Thanks for the help.
Matt

Re: Spark plug non fowlers

well im not turboed but i know you wouldnt put it on your first o2 sensor no matter what because thats what the engine tunes it self off of and the second is the one that causes the check engine light. the spark plug non fouler just makes the second o2 sensor think that the exhaust fumes are being cleaned by a cat because its not in the direct flow of the exhaust so it reads that its been cleaned. as for the turbo really effecting this i wouldnt know but i dont think it makes any difference

Re: Spark plug non fowlers

From a wideband standpoint, I'm not sure what you mean. You need to have the wideband directly in the exhaust flow in order to get accurate A/F readings (pre-cat). Like civic-driver said, your non-fouler will go after your "cat" so it doesn't throw a CEL. If your DP has two o2 bungs, continue running the stock narrowband and just put your wideband in the other bung. It's just easier to wire it that way.
