rsx dash questions and wiring..
im picking up a rsx type s dash on monday.. im pretty sure are cars are same chassis but does anyone know if this bolts up??? or fits properly?
also if i do a kswap do i need to rewire anyything or will it be all plug and play?

it's not the same chassis. it's the same platform. the dash, however, may actually bolt up, but you might get some gaps. wiring is fairly complicated unless you get the new dash harness to go with it. im not sure what other details it entails, but thats quite the project on your hands.

Since its em2 might be little bit less work.

he's putting a rsx dash into a integra. Should give you an idea of how much work would be involved

i think there are like two people on here that have swapped the rsx-s dash into an em2. i remember a guy trying to get paypal donations for the wiring schematics or something.
as for the k-swap, there are tons of threads on this. xproductions could probably tell you everything you need to know.

i have the dash wiriing harness as well.. if i run a type r ecu with a k20a with rsx dash i would think it should be plug n play who knows.. im talkin to xproductionz about it right now

yea thanks i saw that hondatech thread i doubt its gonna be anything like that since the em2 and rsx are very similar

wow.. but whats th point imo, if you cant get the door panels either.. it doesnt flow well...
and on the link...
i dont like the interior choice, but o well. id spend it on full motor build for the K, and some RHD, and other jdm-ness... but goodluck chris!

actually the door panels are pretty similar.. reason for doing it because i havnt seen it personally for myself in a em2 second i love the way it looks and third you can beat a 500 dollar dash for 150 bucks lol..

haha.. just talked to xproductionz he agreed with me being that if i get the kswap using type s or type r ecu then the dash would be plug and play using the type s dash wiring.
