turbo d17
i was wondering why the dezod is more popurlar than the tsi extreme kit .. while the tsi kit also comes with fuel management .. here in toronto, the tsi kit is 400 bucks cheaper too... please give me some input
All TSI Extreme Kits Include:
* Garrett GT20 turbo (GT25 turbo for the D17 kits) w/ internal wastegate set to 6 PSI.
* Cast manifold that comes preassembled on Garrett turbo.
* Down pipe and gasket.
* Polished charge piping.
* High-flow intercooler.
* Stainless steel braided oil line and fittings.
* Stainless steel braided water lines for turbo cooling.
* Blow off valve.
* Comes standard with TSI's proprietary fuel system, which includes a TSI interface block with 2 additional fuel injectors and controller unit (black box). The controller unit is adjustable, displays boost pressure, and has an integrated turbo timer. The settings are all pre-programmed to work right out of the box. A good dyno tune can still yield some additional horsepower though.
* Rising rate fuel pressure regulator (not included or needed on 7th Gen Civics).
* Heat shield.
* High-performance air intake and filter.
* Oil return hose and oil pan fitting.
* All hardware, pressure lines, hoses, clamps, and couplers.
* Installation instructions & injector control settings.
* 5 year warranty on cast parts, 1 year for accessories, and the full Garrett manufacturer's warranty for the turbo.
Force Fed Concepts D17 S1 Turbo System (Requires a fuel system & engine management system):
1. Dezod Spec'd Innovative T3/T4 Turbo
2. Dezod Motorsports Custom AA SS Log Style Manifold
3. Dezod True Custom 2.5" Downpipe**
4. TiAL Billet BOV
5. TiAL 38mm Wastegate w/ 5.88 PSI Spring (.4 BAR Spring)
6. Bar & Plate Intercooler Core w/ Custom end tanks
7. Stainless Steel Charge Piping-Custom Made
8. Oil Lines
9. Necessary fittings, hoses, gaskets & clamps
10. Iridium Spark Plugs
The tsi kit is also about 400 dollars CHEAPER + has the fuel management which would cost me another 400-500 with the dezod .. but i don't get why the dezod is still more popular ??

Re: turbo d17
Only few ppl have had success installing the TSI kit with no issues. This kit is almost a nightmare to install so really for the money dezod is the way to go. You know the old saying you get what you pay for dezod may be more expensive but you'll be satisified at the end of the day.
