Clearing Headlights on a 98/99 Civ
Hey Anyone know where I can get a DIY on clearing the headlights on a 98 or 99 (cant remember) Honda Civic coupe?
I'm clearing my '01 coupe soon, and a friend of mine will be doing his 98 at the same time, but we need instructions for his.
Thanks

It's basically the same process as the 2K1. You gotta remove the front bumper. You gotta open up the lights. Cool thing about the 98/99 civics is that when you remove the amber reflector...it's one less step than the 2k1's. Once you open up the light, just remove the amber piece and your done.
The 98 are totally different from the 99's. The headlights on the 98's are the same as those on the 96-97. They have the amber reflector at the bottom of each corner and the corner lens is sort of "frosty". Much like a glass shower door. Like SpdRcrChk said, you can clear those by basically following the same steps for clearing ours.
However, the 99-00 headlights are different. I think that the little trapezoidal amber reflector in there is clipped into a hole underneath where it lies. It is kind of "plugged" into position. If you take it out, there will be a hole left behind. I wouldn't recommend clearing these because they already look awesome and the amount of amber is minimal, so it already has the clean look.
