Installing new belts, should I add belt dressing?

Should I add belt dressing to the new drive belt and/or timing belt before or after I install them? I would like to prevent them from drying out over time. If so, what kind should I buy?

just let them stretch out by taking the belts out of the cardboard sleeves for a few minutes before you install them.

i put dressing on mine every few thousand miles. makes them look nice and gives them more life. just apply when its turning so you get it on the whole belt. wear goggles.
